Rangers "on the brink" of CL elimination!
#21
GVB absolutely terrified of getting a mauling last night. Hence the blanket defence and not pushing it at all on the wings with Barisic and Tavernier defensively committed. They were lucky Mane is playing for Bayern Munich now and his forlorn replacement, Nunez, looks nothing like the top striker Liverpool hoped he would be. Even though McGregor is a good goalie, this guy's profligacy in front of Rangers goal was embarrassing TBF!! Not clinical enough and hitting too many shots close to McGregor - should've bagged at least a "hat trick" last night!! I'm curious to see if Rangers and GVB attempt to take on Liverpool at Ibronx because they'll get a good old skelping if they do it. I laughed at the number of "quiet" Huns like McCoist, Hately, Adam and many others who thought they had a chance last night because Liverpool's form was not as good as normal - all very subdued lol Laugh Some people in the Scot footie media really ended up "eating humble pie" as well after uttering some of the most unrealistic hopes for a team that is nowhere near the required standard of Euro Champs League participation.

I was amazed GVB started the rotund columbian, i mean he doesn't have the movement or attitude to play in that league and VVD swatted him aside easily, and he's a player thats not been looking too clever lately.

Hearing McCoist banging on about the gulf in finances was hilarious. I mean we know the huns are as thick as a boxing day shite but they literally have zero self awareness.

They were the CL equivalent of Livi or Motherwell going to Ibrox last night.

And another skelping from Napoli's reserves last night.... After the 2nd the italians treated the game like a training match. Some header for the 3rd though.

They are only -1 away from the worst champions league campaign on record Laugh

Morelos is so out of condition it's incredible to think he's a professional footballer. He's only 26 and he looks like one of the fat dads waddling about at portobello pitz Laugh

It's the fact that Napoli "jumped down into 2nd gear" in the 2nd half was so glaring - no doubt realising how superior a side they actually have compared with The Rangers poor standard of footie in the top level of Euro footie - the words "out of their depth" come to mind. As for the "fat boy"? He needs to go on a diet!!

1-3 Ajax, and being honest it should have been a lot more.

And so it concludes, Rangers have the worst champions league performance ever - 0 points and -20. Scotlands shame on and off the park.

I listened to another Hun delusionist (one of many), Mark Hateley, arguing last night that Rangers had a vg chance of beating Ajax because they beat PSV Eindhoven in the UCL quali round - the usual optimistic bullshit uttered by Hateley without mentioning the fact PSV should've won that match 4-1 if truth be told. The fact that their very influential CF, Luuk de Jong, had to come off injured at HT - THEY WERE DOWNRIGHT JAMMY THAT NIGHT AND IN THE PREVIOUS ROUND A LITTLE KNOWN BELGIAN FOOTIE CLUB NAMED UNION SAINT GALOISE SHOULD'VE ELIMINATED THEM FROM THE COMPETITION - SHOULD'VE BEEN "HAMMERED 5-0 OR 6-0 IN THE 1ST LEG!!

Always laugh when the media and pundits carry on about the financial disparity between the uglies and the top clubs in Europe and it's not fair being asked to compete. In the next breath they are eulogising about how great they are when they play the rest of the SPL especially Livingston and Ross County without a mention of any money disparity.

Before the game last night one of them was going on what a chance they had as their attack was so dominant last Saturday v Aberdeen......................slight change of class v Ajax, you muppet!

It's amazing how many of them can't accept that basic fact HB, yet will sit on their forums and slag off other SPL teams for playing cautiously against them.  No doubt the tims and the fartz will be getting their doings next and all of a sudden it will be a scottish fitba problem. Yet it was a different story when they fluked their way to the EL final.

Ajax aren't some top level CL side either, it wasn't beyond the huns to get something from that game. Still no idea what wee Gio was doing tactically though, Hearing him complain about it being the leagues fault for not giving them last weekend off was absolute LOL. Typical hun deflection tactics, humoured by our dimwit bluenose media.

The reason the huns have done so badly is down to their farcical recruitment and squad management. As a result they look like a team thats never far from a poor result.

Oh and special mention for Fatboys miss last night, even by his standards it was a classic. Laugh Laugh Laugh

So, the fourth best team in a group of four finished very clearly and very obviously fourth. is this even newsworthy?

Last season's near success was news, because it was as unlikely as Real Madrid losing at home to a team from Moldova.

Can't really understand why Rangers don't play Alex Lowry in midfield and at least give their fans hope for the future.
