With West Brom shipping out Georgios Samaras, Brown Ideye, Silvestre Varela and Sebastina Blanco in the near future, some money spent on wages will be freed up. So if salary is the sticking point for Fletcher, there is now some wriggle room.
"Also the swap deal involving Graham Dorrans and Martin Olsson of Norwich is almost done. The Swedish international Olsson would solve West Brom's problem at full-back. The value of the package is around £4m."

Fletcher is a player i'd say was a steady signing not brilliant, Not sure he's good enough to stick him on the sort of wages that he wants, but hey i don't pay the wage bill
