Sunderland v The Owls PO SF 1st Leg
Sunderlands player's were all up for it, as individuals and a collective.

Our lot are NEVER inspired, never chasing them down forcing mistakes under pressure like teams do to us. Always look like we're just going through the motions. Other teams are able to pass to each other, what's our excuse?
In the end, Sunderland showed us how you see a game out. Something else we're incapable of doing under DM otherwise we'd have made the auto's
DM had it wrong and we're lucky it's only one goal we trail by. But as we've been saying for a while now. "Do we really want DM and his bingo machine choking in the playoffs?"
He's going to make Wednesday fan's suffer and be the gift that keeps giving to Sunderland in their first playoff success.

Expect another unmotivated, half hearted, bottle job from this lot on Monday. And for Moore to completely uninspire them before sending them out.
Sorry lads, but I hope this is the end of the line for Moore and our Playoffs. This man is wasted time. We had the squad and ability to make the auto's this season, with the points we've pissed away we'd have made it too.
He's already choked in reality, losing the playoffs should be the end of this bingo madness.
A decent manager would have us there, he couldn't stop us going down, even on the final day. He's not taking us up either. He's one dimensional and not flexible in his methods whatsoever.

None of this guarantees anything but we have been the best team in this division for the last 4 months and have the best home record this year. There is no reason why we cannot win on Monday and DM has shown time and again that he knows the best 11 to pick. Does he always get it right, no of course not, no manager does but our record suggests he knows what he is doing.

But Sunderland are no mugs either, sure they could turn us over and good luck to the if they do, but the form for the last few months suggests we will win this game and probably by more than 2 goals.

I'm aware of our home form. Sadly, it doesn't take into account the habitual bottling of big games.
The lack of inspiration DM generates before these games.
It's only one goal and you're not wrong for hoping. This isn't a typical league game anymore though. This is now a very big, very important home game with the pressure on our players more than theirs.
We have seen time again how that goes.

Long term, we need a massive rebuild. Club, squad, staff absolutely anything pertaining to Sheffield Wednesday needs rebuilding and modernization.
Sunderland still running a premier league stadium in Div 3
It still says "Presto" on our away end from 40yrs ago.We have to stop pretending we're 'Massive' because we're not.
We've always had a great fan base that has deserved better than the shit we've been fed for 22 years...
It has to start here and now FFS. Chansiri leaving and no more football manager games from his son picking our coaches. Truth is, we are many, many years from being a Premier League club
And if we don't start taking the journey more seriously than "have faith" then nobody can be surprised that after 20 years were still in the exact same fking spot.. in DM we trust? Enough with it, he is a plaster over a gaping wound.

Did enjoy the Sky hype two clubs with Premier League stadiums and Premier League set up although they forgot to add one of them will be playing Fleetwood next season. Your still in it, you could have sunk from view in the first 15 minutes of the second half, got through that and you started to pass the ball and get it out to the wings. Still all to play for

Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.

Piggies sure know how to rub it in don't they?

All we can hope for is the annual pig choke to make ours less painful lol

3 shots on target and 3 goals against league leaders..

I wonder what we're doing wrong?

Luton where in the conference when cliwnsiri took over ! But unlike us they had a business plan ..if they do go up they will pump everything into the development of a new ground which will be surrounded by more capital shopping malls !
On the pitch they also have a vision of investing in youth and bringing them through the ranks to play in the first team unlike us again!
