LAST MATCH

Well as usual, we made hard work of getting past poor opposition, but eventually found a way. We started on the front foot and had a number of chances, but either very poor finishing or the keeper making a few saves kept the score at 0-0. The chances started to dissipate as the half went on and we went in level. Onto the second and we continued to huff and puff but then NML was brought down in the area and Gregory put the spot kick away. We had a few more chances to put the game away but didn't take them but we held on for 3 more valuable points

THE MATCH

The biggest match of the season as we travel down south to take on fellow playoff pursuers Wycombe. Wycombe currently lie in 6th place on goal difference from Sunderland who have a game in hand so will be looking for 3 points to keep there playoff push alive. They are managed by Gareth Ainsworth who has been in charge for a decade and has a 39% win rate. There top goal-scorer is Sam Vokes who has 15 goals and 7 assists. A win for us would keep hopes of an unlikely automatic promotion spot

Squeeky bum pressure game. Win this and we're as good as in the playoffs surely.
Hopefully, those rested will come back in to the fold we need Dele-Bashiru steamrolling through like a mini Akinfenwa for this one.
I expect all the dirty tricks from rock star Stainsworth.

Does anyone know what the news on Dean is ?

Barnsley need a win away at huddershit tomorrow or they are relegated with county Derby lol .

Rhodes could put the nail in has he's been as prolific as ever this season with 2 goals ...feffing lees has scored 3 ffs ...what a joke !

Saw something on FB from the Star that said Hutch and Dean were both close to coming back.

Looking like hutch will be back but Dean is unlikely maybe the bench ? What I do know is there winger has scored an awful load of goals on the back post ...if we play Johnson here on Saturday we will get feffed ! Game plan needed on wycombes pineapple head winger forward .
The way they play Dubkley won't fair any better either ...I'd be tempted to play luongo and hutch instead and let bashuri have a crack in the middle again !

Other news tickets for the Pompey game selling fast ...surely if we go into this with a win needed for promotion then we should have the away end as well and shuve Pompey in the crows nest ?

Don't think there are any seats in the Crows Nest these days.
