Johnson watch activated - the nightmare begins for the UK!!
The Russians "push" all the time and have been doing it since WW2 - in the North Sea and the Atlantic around the British Isles, probing our airspace regularly. So they'll do it more successfully in a safer area near their own borders. I wonder what their next move will be.

Listening to a reputable political analyst on the radio and the guy describes Johnson's response/sanctions as "lame duck" compared with Germany's response today lol Laugh while Johnson found out in misleading parliamentarians re a bogus claim of sanctions against Roman Abramovich, stomping out of the chamber!!! Nice one by Dan Walker! Johnson et al, incl the Conservative Party itself, are steeped in all sorts of Russian money and favours. I'm expecting the "drip, drip, drip, conspirators" to feed the full extent of the shit they've been practising for years.

Boris promising a massive package of sanctions against Putin and his allies. As usual, far too little far too late. The UK and even the rest of The West are much too much of a soft touch. It should have been done weeks ago to make Putin stop and think (if he's capable of that). Boris is not the most worrying thing in this sequence of rhetoric - it's a mad Vlad with his finger hovering above the nuclear button.

They mistakenly believed Putin would back down - a lotta reputable people/political experts "eating humble pie" and totally wrong with their "he won't do it" opinion!! Rolleyes IMO officials of the EU, NATO, US and UK not providing a real threat to Putin's actions and all "talking a good game" AS USUAL!! We now have to see how this all unfolds and who comes out of this crisis better than when it began. No winners in an all-out war TBH!! Apart from the arms dealers, "brokers of death and chaos".

Well now the obvious what "wasn't ever gonna happen Borishka" has happened, just waiting for the obnoxious Patel to say we'll be happy to accept the regular 20-30,000 refugees. Give it a few more days, it's standard Home Office Policy according to her.

Anyone arriving by rubber dinghy across the North Sea will obviously be blown back to Denmark or Holland by turning the big windmills on Dogger Bank against them.

Meanwhile Bodgit and his mates are trying to block a few bank accounts and credit cards, unless they are Tory Party donors obv.

We sit here and watch a tin-pot twat kill innocent people for his own gratification and somehow we can't find a lump of lead or better still a missile that we can otherwise fly down the streets of Baghdad and stop at the traffic lights, then turn left on green, that is big or accurate enough to lodge between his eyes and ears or finish up, up his arse (as yet).

Pardon my sarcasm Theo, all OK as we can all watch the footie for ever more as though nothing has happened - like 30k+ refugees, who had happily lived for decades in a peaceful country called Ukraine, fleeing to the likes of Poland + 1000s n 1000s of families and children similarly fleeing to other neighbouring countries as quickly as poss. It's a great pity that the west couldn't have taken out the Russian air capability in some way to at least give the Ukrainian govt/military some kinda chance and send out a signal that we have not left them to their own fate. The west's unimpressive role in recent events in Afghanistan, and now Ukraine, just do not "sit well" with me and I'm sure similarly with millions n millions of other observers worldwide. I share similar sentiments re all this "cheap chat" coming from the various world authorities that have been utterly complacent re Russia and Putin well before he annexed Crimea. The signs were there to be heeded - totally ignored by people who truly believed that diplomacy and the threat of sanctions would never fail them in situations like this one. Naivety exemplified esp when dealing with a tin-pot dictator who this morning amazingly sent out a plea to the Ukrainian people/military to overthrow their own democratically elected govt?????? It just proves again Putin living in his own mystical world and oblivious to reality!!!
Lastly, I watched the stunning video of a callous Russian tank driver diverting his armoured vehicle to drive over and crush a civilian motor vehicle travelling in the opposite direction - a 100% psychopathic killer in full view!!! But amazingly, the driver, a stunned older man, has been helped out of his crushed car - good on you, ya lucky bastard!!! Thumb up Quick thinking and lying on the floor of the car clearly saved his life!!

You were right! The Brit govt not providing a safe route for refugees after all their official talk re providing support for Ukraine etc etc!!!? Support at a safe distance eh!! Rolleyes That RW contagious "Brexit disease" as prevalent as ever with many of us unsurprised re this crass political stance while it is the exact opposite up here in Scotland re official support, public support (NGO appeals already organised all over the place) and providing safe havens for refugees - a different country, different culture and politics plus a strong social conscience.
