We spent just over £2m 2/3years ago on Middlewood road to improve the facilities because they were getting to a state of disrepair, we keep spending on the scouting network (which was disbanded under Dave Allen) and we have just brought in new development coaches. The academy is now considered to be on par to pigs training/academy grounds and this will bear fruits in the next 3/4 years IF WE KEEP INVESTING.
If I/we can find the financial statements for this last year then we can have a look through and see what we've spent money on and whether we think it adds up

Get them injured falling stars signed up!
Running at a loss of 125k a week it's no wonder we can't even repaint the old lady.

The BIG problem we have is th players on the fringe who don't even look like providing competition or breaking into the squad at all and those constantly injured.
Moving these on could clear some wages for new players:
McCabe £6000
Corry £6000
Zayatte £10000 (probably)
Coke £8000?
Madine £10000
Buxton £10000
Kelhar £6000?
That gives us almost £55000 which could get us 3/4 new players (wages wise) to actually compete for a place IN THE SQUAD
Also if we could get some youngsters out on loan to L1/L2 we can see how they're going to handle 1st team football:
Floro
De Havilland
Young
Wildsmith
Dawson
Betra
We have a small squad, I know, but if we replaced 3 of them who NEVER play and brought in 2 who would play then we'd be better off in my eyes

Christ, I forgot Kelhar even existed didn't he only sign for 6 months though?
There are too many periphery players that don't feature for sure.
