Not sure about the two average teams!! Germany may well be average compared to previous teams but they still hammered a good Portugal team. England are not average, they are solid, they play with little flair but they are getting the job done, sounds like the German teams of old!!

Interesting 90 minutes both sides had periods were they looked on top, no surprise they took the lead when they did, great free kick, Sterling should have scored before the impressive Saka got in down the right and the Danish centre back did the rest.
Looked a foul on Kane although have to say that it looked more of a penalty than the one they actually got.
Extra time they parked the bus Sterling fell over and Kane got lucky with the rebound.

Peaked early on in this one nice move for the unlikeliest of scorers Shaw, from then on in only one winner in my view and it wasn't us. Donnarumma barely had a shot to save after that as we sat back and let teh Italians have the ball, Chiesa started to dominate and only matter of time until they scores, possible hand ball from teh corner but they could have had a penalty as Chiellini was hauled down, didn't matter they scored anyway.

Extra time they should have been down to 10, the tackle on Grealish was a red a dn then came the substitutions, firstly never change at opposition corners, Rashford at right back, should have given them game time cannot take penalties when you have not been involved in teh game.
Don't blame Saka, as for taking penalties put your foot through it like Maguire.
Thought Rice was outstanding for us for the them Chiesa looks some player but the two old guys at the back were magnificent.
