Nicola Sturgeon finally begins the process of separation!
Not an earthly the SNP have picked up 5-7 k more members off the back of this . Laugh
The twitter accounts that talk about joining up? Have a look at them they are obviously bogus and bots. The whole thing is trumpian, but I guess thats politics across the board currently.

Even if you go by the SNP membership figures the notion of a party putting 10% onto its membership in one day during a period of poisonous division and on the back of its leader basically saying “I don’t know about that....I dont know about that..... something else might have happened” for the best part of a day is just for the birds. Sorry.

Johnson now announcing that the British state has decreed that it is acquiring more nuke warheads as part of their post Brexit defence strategy that will strive to make rUK (aka England) great again (NOT!!!!) and guess where these WMDs will end up????? Yep, you've got - foisted on Scotland and a Scottish population that has about 85% of its citizens who vehemently oppose the use of a nuclear deterrent at Faslane and want it removed from Scottish soil/waters asap!! So much for many countries signing up to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty in the past 12 months. The word "dinosaurs" comes to mind when listening to some of these Brexit scumbags trying to justify this increase in nuclear capability. Also I can't believe that Scotland and the Scot govt has its "hands tied" in this regard for all these years. IMO rUK should be forced to remove this abomination to their own country and lets see how their own citizens perceive the thought of it being dumped on their own "doorstep".

I think it's accepted that defence is a reserved matter for the UK Government, no matter what anyone thinks of the case for Scottish Independence or the WMD issue. As you will probably remember, I'm all in favour of the nuclear deterrent, but even I don't see why we need an extra 80 warheads or the current number of 4 submarines in service.
Cabbage is still good for you

It just ties in with the aggressive populist politics that we are witnessing almost on a daily basis ritchie. Btw I'll just reiterate my huge opposition to the use of WMDs as do all members of my family for lotsa reasons incl the biggest one that nobody has any god given right to use such despicable weapons of mass destruction to knowingly kill millions of innocent people and to achieve what???? Revenge, deterrence???? No winners in this kinda game AND IT IS MORALLY AND ETHICALLY WRONG!!! That is why there is a growing list of countries that are trying to reverse the proliferation of said WMDs. Even the "father of the atomic bomb", Robert Offenheimer, expressed deep regret in ever producing this horrible weapon of mass destruction and no f###### wonder. Was it sheer guilt and remorse after realising what he'd been party to creating such a horrific piece of military ordnance? One can quickly refer to past WWII video footage of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki to appreciate how abhorrent it really is in what I regard as a war crime of the worst kind and many war veterans, incl my father, never forgave the US for carrying out that despicable act against a civilian population no matter what the justification. May I also add that my father-in-law, who we lost to COVID in Dec last year, did part of his naval service on the Trident sub, Repulse. HE WAS OPPOSED TO THE USE OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS TOO AND WAS ONE OF THE 85% OF THE PEOPLE IN SCOTLAND WHO ARE AGAINST ITS USE AND ITS DEPLOYMENT IN SCOTLAND. Yep, it is a reserved matter but we know how to sort that out and endorse the proper values of a small country like Scotland - one that is friendly and outward looking, internationalist and embracing a pluralist society and forward thinking pragmatic form of governance. And definitely not a war monger!!! Just compare our Bella Caledonia with the austerity and Brexit damage on the UK, a smaller, meaner and lonelier country full of isolationists. In recent times I'm listening to a lotta rhetorical shit re the negative side of the nationalist movement but in reality the real nasty, divisive nats aren't in the Scotindy movement, a peaceful movement btw and it always has been a peaceful movement to push for self-determination - that, together with the unity of all indy factions, is its strength!! The nasty, divisive nats are clearly in the Conservative and Unionist Party and Brexit movement, both allied to the worst elements of English nationalism. Scotland can only do better, and it must!! And btw when Scotland becomes independent there is no foreign govt/country on this planet that will wanna nuke our wonderful nation because there will be no great reason to do it - WE ARE NOT WAR MONGERS AND NEVER WERE OF THAT ILK!!

Extraordinary intervention in Westminster today from Dave Davies under parliamentary privilege.

Would not surprise me if we are inching closer to a criminal investigation into the FM, her husband are her cronies Evans and Lloyd.

At the lunch time COVID briefing, Nicola Sturgeon briefly refuting these allegations out of hand as utter conspiracy theory in the latest Alex Salmond saga. Leaving it at that and referring to parliamentary committee to get on with the business of going through all the evidence. There will be no criminal investigation and that is just "having a laugh" particularly when observing the antics of Davies' Tory/Brexit associates who have breached the ministerial codes and are privy to breaking the law when it suits them. Lastly, waken up FFS and don't be fooled by this Tory Brexit propaganda onslaught against the SNP/Scot govt and the Scot indy movement through RW media and bbc channels. That Davies charade was clearly stage-managed without a shadow of a doubt!! They've been "at it" for weeks!! A "civil service contact/link" (says Davies in his stage-managed script!) AGAIN!!!!!! Who is this so called whistleblower????? Is this c### part of the real conspiracy to bring down the Scot govt together with the SNP as well - the enemies of this fascist British state and far more poisonous than the SNP/Scot govt could ever seriously compete with!!!! Do they care about Scottish democracy and the way that we run our country????????????????? NO!!!!!! SO WAKEN UP!!!! Reflect back to Brexit and the underhand methods used to convince a chunk of a naive English population. Currently I'm watching stream after stream of negative anti Scot info/data foisted on the general public through the usual RW media/press "suspects" - a bigger version of Brit state propaganda that was used in 2014, Scot referendum year!! That is what this onslaught is really all about AND PLAYING THIS KINDA DIRTY POLITICAL GAME DURING A PANDEMIC CRISIS IN SCOTLAND REALLY IS "CROSSING A RED LINE"!!! Note no retrospective action in the Scottish Parliament when it came to the Patel, Johnson, Hancock or Gove offences!!!!!! Do they really care that much about Scotland!! DO THEY F###!!! Look at the bigger picture and what these c#### are really conspiring to do with millions of quid (taxpayers' money btw!) funneled through a Brit govt "Union Unit". You predicted months ago that this would happen Jim and it is happening on a grand scale. Am I concerned?? Of course I'm concerned that they will get to the middle ground of our voting population (the voters who don't know who to vote for or wanna find any convenient reason to vote for a non-indy political party although they are still affiliated to a Scotland that they cherish) and particularly at a time when the Scot indy movement across the country cannot move to counter a lotta the shit that these Unionist scumbags are uttering plus the added concern the SNP is looking relatively intransigent at the moment. One can only hope that Scot voters up n down the country are "streetwise" to the real motives and deceptions that these bastards have attempted to foist on the Scottish people as witnessed before.

And great news (plus some positivity re Scotland and Scot governance!!!!!) just announced this afternoon!! Thumb up The administered vaccinations in Scotland have now passed the 2M marker, A BIG MILESTONE IN THE QUEST TO DEAL WITH THIS COVID CRISIS!!! And a big achievement when compared to the vaccination actions throughout Europe. Well done to the Scottish govt and well done to all the people who are "busting a gut" to implement the full vaccination program to our population Thumb up The cynic in me wonders if the timing of that stage-managed charade by that Brexit c###, Davies, was all about "putting the negativity boot" into the SNP/Scot govt just before the positive news that they were aware would be announced sometime today - CAN'T HAVE ANY POSITIVITY RE SCOTLAND AND SCOTTISH GOVERNANCE EH!!!!!!! Rolleyes Shameless bastards but we all knew what they were all about long before now unless certain people within our population have decided to be infected by some kinda "fickleness disease" when it comes to this political shit!!!

And one of the last actions of the Scot govt is to offer a 4% rise to NHS workers. This announcement was timed just after the Brit govt announcing that more Union Jackery will be foisted on Scotland, effectively "shoved down our throats" - these political flags will now be displayed outside govt buildings on a daily basis. It reminds me of Germany in the 1930s and the rise of the Third Reich with their national flags etc, the difference is we are dealing with Brexit/English nationalist fanatics. IMO the Scot govt response re their NHS pay offer is a subtle "two fingers" to an antagonistic British govt that applauds/claps for its NHS England workers but doesn't truly recognise their sterling efforts over the past 12 months. Their "cronies" and extreme politics are far more important to them and that is the tragedy of this whole story.

Surely this won't go anywhere will it?? This will just dilute the independence movement vote.
