That's what happens when lotsa businesses, supermarkets etc throughout the country are stockpiling all kindsa goods in prep for the impact of a post Brexit UK - WHY ARE WE SERIOUSLY LEAVING THE EU?????????????????? NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't vote for this shit and I'm sure there are millions n millions of folk who share a similar sentiment and certainly don't like Brexit wrongly being "shoved down our throats" in a massive govt/media exercise, initiated by a bunch of RW Tory fanatics, to try and normalise it.

It makes good business sense to prepare for the adverse effects of Brexit, unlike Boris and his cronies. They pretend that they have done everything possible, saying that it's easy and if it doesn't work then "it's your fault, not ours". That's all right in cloud cuckoo land, but not in the real world.

And on a lesser topic, did you see Boris' attempt at wearing a hard hat this morning, with his hair doing it's best to dislodge the hat. Reminiscent of a 60s TV series with "supermarionation".

It does make sense but it also causing major headaches. Freight prices are going up across the board and there are now major vessel, equipment and storage shortage across the supply chains, as well as huge bottlenecks in terminals and across inland services.

And in the midst of all that have a look at what hauliers are facing potentially in a couple of weeks. The government had YEARS to prepare not only the public sector but also the private one for what is about to happen.

The only country in the world that's negotiating to add tariffs to its trade and reduce the rights of its citizens....to protect the sovereignty of fish that we don't consume.

One of the biggest laughs is they don't have enough customs agents. They can add that to the deficiency in veterinary expertise to deal with animal conditions and welfare required for import/export duties.

At long last! Lets forget this Brit govt/Johnson govt propaganda/bullshit drive re a fantastic deal and "call it as it is". The more reputable people who do this, the better! Brexit always was a con, a lie, from the very beginning and it still irks me even now that a huge chunk of the English populace were naively duped by this deception and show of jingoism. Nothing has changed!

The Conservatives fucked themselves trying to exploit public xenophobia for their own political gain, and they only got out of it because the national press rode to their rescue. Brexit had nothing to do with Britains relationship with the EU, more to do with Britains disgusting media.

The UK will continue with its Russian styled managed democracy going forward - nothing is changing unless certain institutions are burned to the ground.

Also note the EU27 fired that deal through straight away with 100% agreement. Not even the French moaned about it.

They have got everything they wanted. By the time the fishing deal elapses I reckon the UK will be re-aligned closer with Europe.

It's only been ratified by the EU Ambassadors, though, so it still has to be confirmed by the EU Parliament. In my mind, there's no reason to doubt that it will be passed.

Yep! You're right - it's a formality. As Jim said, "They've got everything they want"! They're "cheesing" and no wonder!

Watched jaw on the floor as that Brexit voting eel exporter on sky news finally realised he is fucked.

'I voted for a global market not this' Doh Doh Now you cant sell in your closest market because of the red tape and costs....plus your European customers will just buy them in the single market now.
