Nicola Sturgeon finally begins the process of separation!
I recently said to my wife, when discussing this very issue last week on another long walk outdoors, that certain parts of our country are "infested with BAMS"!!! I haven't changed that opinion one jot and this latest irresponsible and selfish act just confirms it.

I can reflect back to almost the very beginning when collective adherence to the fundamental rules in fighting against the spread of COVID was paramount. My initial perception of the situation was that some form of success for this strategy was definitely relative to the "discipline of the population" and that perception doesn't just apply to Scotland. I expected some of the crises that are cropping up in England and predicted them long before they happened. Certain regions of Scotland have been a disappointment for me but the rising infections/"spikes" in Glasgow and surrounding areas have not surprised me at all.

I notice in a Times article that the Scot FM's overall approval rating in England has now overtaken Johnson whose rating plummeted from -7 to -19. Nicola Sturgeon's rating surged in the opposite direction by 36 pts from a negative position, a minus rating because many within the English population don't like her indy stance but must realise now that the "tide has turned" for obvious reasons and Johnson and his anarchistic RW buddy, Cummings, are part of the prob. It was also curious to note in the Times OP poll that the only region in England that didn't comply with this view was the south of England, a region where a big chunk of that population (incl lotsa oldies with odd, extreme views!!) played a big part in "landing us" with Brexit and indeed foisted Johnson and his shit majority govt on the whole country!! Thumb down

The amount of house parties police have been called to up here backs up a lot of what Ritchie is saying.

It's as I said in a previous thread - there are a lotta bams in this country who don't give a f### about anyone or anything. In the case of illicit parties, this offence covers a lotta age groups and not just young kids - very worrying!

The Scot Tory leader, wee "whispering" Dougie Ross, is the subject of a FIFA investigation following poss misuse of the FIFA logo in political leaflets sent out to the Scottish public. Boyyyyy, I chuckled when I read this latest revelation re this non-entity of a Tory leader who has had no impact on the Scottish public so far and I don't expect that to change. This FIFA investigation was activated following a complaint from a member of the Scottish Football Supporters' Association, the criticism being that, "The leaflet was distributed by the political party that DR leads, sent to households throughout Scotland and it clearly shows him using his image as a FIFA official to try and benefit himself and his organisation with this endorsement". I'd luv to see Ross, a professed unionist and probable Rangers fan, being banned from practising as an Assistant Referee due to a flagrant breach of the FIFA statute that covers strict neutrality on political issues. IMO he is another one of these dodgy footie ref officials in Scotland who should be forced to sign an affidavit to the SFA professing any kinda affiliation or association with Scot footie clubs in much the same way as is practised by the English Football Association.

Only in Scotland would the leader of the conservative and unionist party be allowed to run the line in games involving rangers. It's an absolute joke. Like the wee dick needs the money anyway.

The latest Panelbase poll reveals a positive 56% for Scotindy!! Thumb up That is the 14th poll since the Gen Election in Dec 2019 to show positive support for Scotindy. It is clearly the norm and I'm confident support for Scotindy will surge past 60% after 31 December when a catastrophic Brexit will be foisted on the Scottish people and against their will to remain in the EU. The reason why I predict this next surge in support is the fact that another recent poll shows 66% support for a Scot referendum to reject Johnson's shit Internal Market Bill.

Contrary to the general concensus that the people first in line for the new Covid jab should be NHS and Care Home Workers, then the more vulnerable, I feel there is a case to be made for the bampots to get the first jabs, as they are far more likely to spread the virus and there will apparently be a 90% chance of them being "cured", and unable to pass on the virus.

It's said in jest, but with a grain of logic in there.
