Bolton have more potential than Barrow so a move would make sense but £250k?
He might become another John Sheridan living of his contract payoffs - nice 3 year deal with 18 month paid holiday - Lovely Jubley.

You are correct there are too many 'ifs'.

Yes you are right Bolton do have more potential than Barrow, bigger stadium, fan base etc, but having a bigger stadium and fan base doesn't always = success.

Surely you would want to win trophies and be successful instead of living off contract payoffs.

Ian Evatt has joined Bolton till the 2022-23 season. As part of the deal Bolton are not allowed to approach any Barrow players under contract for two years.

Bet Bolton will really feel the lack of a few Barrow players …….. not.

Barrow must be the biggest relegation bankers of all time. Depressed area. Covid central. Unemployment there is bound to rocket. Football club couldn't attract a crowd pre-epidemic. The club doesn't have money. The team performed much better than the sum of its individual parts, now without the manager and his No2 what chance do they have?

They need Macclesfield plus one other to go out of business to survive in League 2.

For Evo it looks a great move, but Barrow sneaked under the radar to succeed, can he do the same with Bolton who everyone will expect to go straight back up? If he succeeds he is a manager. If he fails he has to go and sit with Gary Caldwell.

Think a few more than Macclesfield will go out of business before the next season kicks off if it ever does.
Evatt saw the green grass and a nice stadium, why wouldn't he give it a go? Take them back up and a higher league club will come calling. If he fails he can just blame it on lack of finances and go back to Barrow.

Three year deal with Eoin is a big risk. He only tops the scoring charts with about every third club he's at. He was a huge disappointment for Bradford City, if they'd had the goals he scored for Swindon they would be in League One now. BUT if he hits it off at Bolton he'll make Evo's management career for him. 20 goals by the turn of the year goes a long long way.

I doubt Waterford will be able to understand Sheri's Manc. He doesn't need to understand them as he's incapable of listening. I don't think he can get home from there every night though. On the other hand there's plenty to drink over there once they open up the pubs.

3 year deal at 32 is pretty good for Doyle, He should be able to score goals if he's played in the correct position.

Pubs in Ireland opened before our pubs did but there is a 90 minute limit on how long you can stay in one for.
