Even Brentford & Bournemouth have more ambition than we currently do, the gamble may or may not pay off. One thing is for certain, if we don't take the risk, how can we ever expect anything more than mediocrity?

We have quite a few players out of contract in the summer so we are likely to lose about a third of our squad for free, although many of them we wouldn't want to keep.

Think we lose Kirkland, Mattock, Buxton, Loovens, Semedo, Coke, McCabe, Corry, Maguire, Lee & Madine.

For there versitility alone i would give contracts to BUXTON MAGUIRE & MATTOCK These are good squad players    unlike CORRY  and MCCRAP who should be shown the door    :
LEE id break the bank for because hes young and hes a good footballer i still think the best we have at the club
LOOVENS is worth a years contract , but there are better out there  

SEMEDO should be offered a job with the club     but im sorry to say hes not going to be in a midfield that wins promotion from this league , due to the fact he cant score for shit and he offers nothing in attack whatsoever  

MADINE Good Riddance   he has had chances , few yes but when hes had a chance infront of goal hes blown it , hes not the next david hirst like so many thought when he first joined   and anyway Hirsty didnt go around hitting his own fans   on west street back in the day !! Hirsty smacked up BLADES    
COKE the same  
KIRKLAND Is a complete wast of wages if Westwood stays ? and after that city game i hope never to see him in Goal again  

Think Buxton will be released. He is injury prone and it's doubtful that he will be good enough any more for the first team. Maguire is looking for a big increase in pay so will go if someone will stump up what he is looking for. Doubt there will be many takers. He has been poor this season. Mattock has been much improved & should be offered a new contract now rather than let him talk to other clubs next week.

Lee has been a big disappointment this season. His performance at Fulham was as bad as any by a Wednesday player this season. Still think he has something but needs a three man CM.

Loovens - agree

Semedo could be Hutchinson's understudy so could be a regular player

Madine should have been given a chance. MM doesn't want to lose him but SG won't play him so he might as well go.

Coke - not good enough

Kirkland was good last season but he is getting older & on big wages. Should have a youngster on the bench next season.

Can't disagree with either of you really!! Mattock for me is the only one we should be definitely looking to keep, with Semedo, Lee and Loovens being offered contracts that are appropriate to their age or team status. Madine is not wanted, so doesn't matter what we think, Coke could still be a squad player but we could do better and McCabe and Corry can do whatever they like as long as they leave!! Buxton is the dilema for me, was a star for a couple of seasons but has been perpetually injured snce then, at least we know Palmer is capable as he has had to play while Buxton is out!!

Lee's form for me is worrying, promising player who picked it up under SG but now can't seem to kick a ball rigth now. Thought his goal the other week would have given him a lift. If Palmer wasn't part of a good defence I would consider switching Lee to right back for a while and give him games.
