European Union Referendum - In or Out??
100,000 jobs on the line in Scotland and I'd be looking for an earlier referendum than Nicola has been preaching about for long enough if it all goes "pear shaped" in England - there is a natural moment to "jump ship" and leave England to its own fate if their populace are daft enough to be fooled by these political games!! IMO the "do minimum" in this utter Brexit farce is a people's vote to either endorse this shit or tell them to GTF!! However, these bastards will block this end conclusion "at all cost" because they are terrified of the negative "change of view" re Brexit that has "swung the other way"!! And, of course, all the devolved countries are now aligned against Brexit and this fascist British govt that has no common ground politically with any of these countries and they have the gall to profess unionist affiliation"!!!??? Bullshit and utter cheek/impudence!!

"Part of the difficulty at the moment is the position of the UK government, that Northern Ireland must leave the EU customs union and must be part of the UK customs union no matter what the people of Northern Ireland think.

That’s their position at the moment and that’s one that is a great difficulty for us because the position of the British government is that the UK must leave the European Union and Northern Ireland must come out of the customs union, whether they like it or not.

That creates huge difficulties for us because we want there to be a deal that respects the wishes of the people of Northern Ireland, and indeed the people in this Republic too."

Leo Varadkar lays it out in simple terms for the hard of thinking.

One of the good things about no deal I guess will be the faces on all the racist gammons down south when the Tories replace all the white eastern Europeans with sub Saharan Africans and sub-continent Asians.

And when they realise they cant get a visa for their holiday home in spain because you need to demonstrate you have earnings over 2k a month.

Or when their medicine supplies get fucked up.

Or when their choice of products in the supermarket gets reduced.

We will see if they are still concerned after about our contribution level to the EU.

That is going feel like an irn-bru after a heavy night on the sauce.

Also attempting to give the "toxic" DUP a "power of veto" in this Brexit process is a definite "no no" and demonstrates a great lack of understanding re the NI problem and, in fact, a huge disrespect to a population/people who didn't vote for Brexit. This fact has always been conveniently missed in the British narrative rather than respecting this position, much like the Scottish position where the opposition to leaving the EU is now well over 70% and I wish that a lot of those pro EU Scots would solidly back Scotindy as a natural recourse and a "kick in the teeth" to this Tory govt and the "turncoat" Scottish Tories who "turn on a sixpence" at the "drop of a hat" - say one thing one day and change it the next!!!! Nae values, nae principles, they can GTF!!
On a side note, has anybody listened to the pro Brexit comments made by Lord LIlley? He was one of Thatcher's hated RW backers/govt associates alongside the hated Norman Tebbit and, interestingly enough, both of them are pro Brexit backers - no surprise to me as I am familiar with the Tory politics of the 1980s where I hated both of them (and Thatcher!) with a passion!!! The thing that "struck me" on the odd occasion when the bbc have "rolled out" this man, Lilley, for a RW opinion, is an observation of his hateful kinda attitude and behaviour that has never changed since the 1980s when he was exactly the same!! IMO this kinda hateful attitude seems to be one of the standout symptoms of many pro Brexit people who I've observed down the years - full of angst and antagonism bordering on real aggression towards people who either oppose them or just don't understand their way of thinking on the subject!! In Lilley's case, his eyes are so dark/black - a really scary character but also another "oldie" in that age category that has predominated the Brexit vote and had a big say in this fiasco ever happening in the first place!! As for his "royal recognition", well I'd spit on the whole process that ever allowed such a RW moron to ever get near such a privileged title!!

The DUPs desired end game is direct rule and end of the good Friday agreement.
Its been so since they contrived to shut down Stormont. They are very, very dangerous people.

Oh look its a BBC report from stoke....

Imagine what many of our poorer communities in the north of England, and elsewhere, could've done with this money to improve their communities, social welfare, social care, education etc - mind-boggling and a total waste - EAT YOUR HEART OUT DAVID CAMERON, YOU F###### MORON!!! Add to that the IFS commenting that British debt and borrowing after a "no deal" Brexit will be the highest since the 1960s!! WTF are we doing other than playing a huge RW Tory "political game" to f### up the country and Ireland under some mistaken banner re "taking back our country (England!!!!!!) from the nasty EU"????????? An absolute disgrace and economically damaging is an understatement!!
Listen to the quote by Angela Merkel - "We are down to a blame game" and Juncker said this morning: "You don't want a deal, you don't want an extension, you don't want to revoke, WHERE DO YOU WANNA GO MR JOHNSON, QUO VADIS"???? HE WANTS A NO DEAL BECAUSE THAT WAS ALWAYS THIS FASCIST GOVERNMENT'S AGENDA AS SOON AS JOHNSON WAS PLACED IN HIS UNELECTED POSITION OF PM IN THE SUMMER ALONGSIDE ALL HIS RICH RW TORY PALS AND BACKERS WHO HAVE MILLIONS N MILLIONS OF POUNDS ROLLING ON THIS POSS "HEIST"!!!!! IMO it is time to set up an emergency British govt asap but time and opposition consensus are running out fast.

Aye, but the EU are unelected beaurocrats ....that are actually elected.

Unlike the flaxen Franco currently in downing Street.

Pipe down jock!

What age group Jim?? Do I need to even ask that question as I've observed this same "oldie" age group rolled out by the bbc from Margate to Sunderland for years!!! What a glaring "common factor" it actually is.

Meanwhile, this latest "poll of polls" just confirms what I've said in my previous thread! I wish Jeremy Corbyn would take heed of this gradual "swing" away from Brexit ever happening and listen to advice from his closest aides instead of flaffing about with Labour's ambiguous position re Brexit!!

EU have opened the door to further talks on a deal after blowjo and leo had a wee chat.

I can only hope that moron has seen sense and thrown the DUP under the bus. Fingers crossed.

So a million+ protest in London next weekend and I wonder if this is finally gonna be the "violent one"???? I hope it isn't but I'm wondering if lotsa people have sussed that we are dealing with a govt and group of RW fascists who are not listening to or heeding the protests and polls that tell us that Brexit is not wanted by the majority of the UK populace, or any of the devolved countries, after observing all the shit and negative aspects of this whole crappy Brexit ideology that never even had a f###### game plan at all in 2016!!!!! Sad to say it but is it the only way to get the attention of these undemocratic RW bastards who have fed off the anger of a certain portion of the population and will in fact try to use it as a "vehicle" to give us Brexit - a technique that these kinda fascist c#### will try to deploy but in fact it could cause even more aggro where something really "silly" could happen!!!!! WE ARE AT THAT CRUCIAL POINT IN THE GAME WHERE MANY PEOPLE WANNA BE HEARD AND NOT IGNORED ANY MORE!!! CALL IT "PEOPLE POWER"!!!
