European Union Referendum - In or Out??
I still feel that the UK will not leave the EU despite the Tory and Labour election manifesto commitments. Nothing has happened to move us on from where we were almost 3 years ago. The Palace of Westminster seems determined to vote down every proposal put forward to leave the EU.

I'm afraid to say that the only way we will leave is if the EU27 kick us out.

So this is the latest phase in the Brexit fiasco "ad nauseum". I don't believe this bill will receive the necessary support from parliament and particularly from Corbyn and the Labour Party. The impasse will prevail!!

Nice photo of a young nigel with the national front in the papers today....but I digress.

A guy on twitter who was at school with him said its not him.

Russell Brand was right when he called him a "Poundshop Enoch Powell. He's using the same tactic as Trump did complaining about the media and how he's portrayed but the thing is he contradicts himself in the media.

Do remember he is "one of us" ha ha ha!! Didn't Donald Trump use that same line when he addressed the steelworkers of Pittsburgh way back in 2016!!? Farage is as big a scumbag as his pal, Trump, and they both use similar techniques to con unsuspecting voters and there are lotsa them out there who really need to be re-educated politically. Scary stuff to see huge numbers of people being so easily conned!

Trump has done an exceptionally good job of rendering multiple main stream media outlets as completely fake news in the eyes of the bulk of his supporters!!! Thats about 63m Americans who think the bulk of the media is basically telling lies!! Its astounding how successful he has been with this nd it will take years for a lot of them to gain any credibility with anyone on the right of the political spectrum. We have also seen quite a bit of distrust in Fox News in recent times as well, mainly when they have called Trump out on something he has said or a policy they see as bad, seems now Trump supporters only watch and believe certain presenters on Fox as opposed to the station itself.

Farage does the same trick, straight from the Steve bannan playbook. Basically say something that on the surface is reasonable and hard to disagree with but is meant in a totally different way coming from his mouth. Boris is another prime exponent. The political landscape now unfolds around us, Demagogues like Farage and Boris are going to come together and take the UK into a right wing paradise, No way will Scotland accept that kind of scenario, trust me it will make independence inevitable but as the polls show the English value Brexit more than the union. How xxxx mad is that ?

The biggest disgrace in all of this has been the complicity of much the UK media in letting Farage and bojo spout off garbage without proper examination. Contrast how they are treated compared to Corbyn or sturgeon for instance. Its clear the non-nom,non tax paying owners of the UK media want their Brexit too.

Anyway, labour has backed its anti Brexit vote into a corner now and they are going to send them a real message next week, they can forget about their support unless they get behind a stronger remain position. As much as I despair at Corbyn's lack of opposition to Brexit, this is 100% mays fault. She has fucked the negotiations and peddled fantasies since 2016.

We have reached the end of the road, a choice has to be made. Go with the fascists, free marketeers and vulture capitalists or stand with progressive politics and the EU. With Brexit you can't take a middle ground. Corbyn is about to find that out.

This is a good Guardian article re the forgotten Tory supporters who are pro-remain and oppose May's explicit stance on making Brexit a reality. There are huge numbers of these voters out there "in the country" and she, and the Tory party, are indeed gonna "pay a big price" politically for not recognising them.
