And in between those ODI's and the Test against Ireland, it's the World Cup. Smile

Archer, Malan and Foakes will start tomorrow, Hales kicked out of squad due to lack of trust by management he failed to tell them the real reason for his personal issues although apparently the ECB knew, bit murky

Enjoyable match at Malahide: these tight, low-scoring affairs are often the best entertainment. Ireland looked doomed with a sub-200 score, but bowled well, and the England top-order went to pieces against short balls. A first international wicket for Jofra Archer on debut, but the jury's still out; I think he needs a bit more control before becoming a regular, cut out the rank deliveries and concentrate on his accuracy. Credit to Foakes and Curran for steering it home, though if the nailed-on LBW against Foakes had been reviewed then it could all have been very different. Very much looking forward to July's Test against the Irish now.

And in their wisdom the ECB have scheduled a ODI for the same day as the RLC cup final utterly clueless

Well it was Ska'd who posted them but yes, there does seem to be some kind of cock up there. I can only assume that the Eng v Aus game is a World Cup warm up, it's not been given full status. So much so, I can't now find it on Cricinfo.
