The Remoaners are really at the bottom of the barrel of scaremongering now Apparently a no deal Brexit could mean that Brits won't be able to watch Netflix whilst on holiday in Europe
Who the f'uck actually forks out a fortune for two weeks in the sun and then spends their time indoors watching Netflix F'uck the all inclusive bar, the pool, the beach and scantily clad tottie, never mind the mini-disco and pissed up Agadoo, I'm catching up on Orange is the new Black Quick, lets have another vote to see if we can change this EDIT :- Just a thought, if this were to be true, perhaps if we refused to go on holiday in Europe until they reinstated Netflix for Brits the hotel owners and resorts might change their minds Cash is King

Obv being an expat as its advantages but unlike the US / Canada etc Dubai is not forever esp with young kids and aging parents back home. The question is whether to go home or look somewhere else for a better quality of life than Sheffield / Derbyshire.

I have some minor regrets about leaving the UK, mainly not seeing family as often and certainly for the first few years here having almost no way to follow Wednesday's games, but technology has made both of those thing easier since I left 17 years ago. I really don't miss living in Sheffield or the UK, our quality of life here is so much better in my experience. I earn more than I would in the UK and there are so many more opportunities here not just with regards to your career but also with your leisure time. I have traveled across the states a lot since moving here, most of it on business but also some epic holidays as well, and there are still a number of things on my bucket list that I haven't yet done!! As it stands today there is no chance of me moving back to the UK!!
I'd move back to England like a shot. Living in Bradford is f'ucking awful
Stateside will get that one

SCO summed it up perfectly with respect to salary and the opportunities here but a lot depends on what job you have.
Its nice to go back and visit but I don't think i could ever go back and live there. Have to say though the OWLS IPA in the Wednesday Tap at the weekend was as good as the Craft beers in the PNW …. just more expensive. |
