It doesn't feel like a fans club anymore. The shit is rolling down hill and being passed on to the fans.
Dragon lady will be on a huge typical consultants fee, coming up with ideas to pinch pennies from the fans. It's reeking of corporate

And breaking a long standing tradition with radio Sheffield arguing over more pennies is ridiculous.

Or are we just being run into the ground by someone who doesn't give a xxxx.

It won't affect anyone who subscibes to iFollow at all. In previous seasons we have had access to the SWFC provided commentary for home games and the Radio Sheffield for away games, now we will get the SWFC commentary for both home and away. I believe we will now have commentary on the games on iFollow but that will be confirmed tomorrow.

I get the club is looking not to see the revenue it gets from this be reduced but this is cutting off your nose to spite you face!! So many Owls fans rely on the RS commentary for away games first due to us selling our away tickets so quickly usually and secondly because ts the away games and fan don't go to them, but the commentary keeps them intouch with the club as a whole. I can't help feel this will mean some borderline fans stop being fans or stop wanting to go to the odd game.

Don't think the effect on its own will matter much but it just seems a bit petty on the surface.

I guess they must be.but probably incorrectly, assuming an increased ifollow revenue compared to the reduced BBC payment.

I've said it before but Tuna Turner will realise his dream of having a Premier League outfit sooner than we think. Unfortunately for us fans it will be the Northern Premier League Doh

DCs biggest problem is the promises he made when he first came in. He got caught up in the hype and the over the top praise he received in the first year. The biggest mistake he made was not keeping MM on the staff for the first year, if DC is as intelligent as I assume he is he could have learnt a ton from MM regarding running a football club!!! Instead he lost Aldridge early on and was left with a bunch of people who either didn't speak up or were giving him crap advice. I like the appointment of Katrien, she knows football and while she may be a tough bitch to deal with, thats what we need with some of our dealing commercially.

Its been said he wants to sell up, but I can't see that. He is stubborn by all accounts but also has pride, he will want to see this through but he has to learn the way football works, and how the interaction with fans works or else he will become a target for the boo boys very quickly!! The fans forum on Monday could be very interesting, and he has to know he will get so many questions about finances that he will be forced to give some proper answers or else there will be uproar!! He has to explain where we stand with FFP, any soft transfer embargo, membership prices etc etc or else fans will turn on him. If we were told the truth and he was as transparent as he can commercially be, then I think the fans will understand and back him further. We have spent way too much on aging players who have no resell value, we can't do that again, we have to build a squad with experience and youth to stay within FFP and I think this is why he brought Jos in, as this is what he has done on 2-3 occasions in his career. Its going to take at least a season to reboot, then we will see if he is still comitted with what we spend after this season. For now we just have to have a solid if very unspectacular season and then get ourselves in position to go again.

Does feel as if we are alienating ourselves from our fan base or any potential fan base with the lack of BBC deal. Which is a fook up in the long run. Most young potential fans would generally hear about there "new team" through the radio commentary and results. They don't go straight to a website link that they have to pay for.... that would come after they are hooked.

Money now is better then no money now and if results start poor then what extra revenue will come in ?

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, you need a team....
