It looks like there was another 'friendly' today against Bradford with a 3-0 loss. From that I'm reading that the objective was to give as many players as possible a full 90 minutes of playing time and next Saturday we may see a closer to the season start team but even then wholesale player change outs during the game.

Hard to figure out what happened at Mansfield - surfing all the posts it looks like FF was getting frustrated with how we were playing and getting no help from the ref especially when he got whacked in the face/head breaking through near the end. After that he tackled someone from behind and it all kicked off with someone from their bench a la Cantona kung fu Kicking Lees and a major fisticuffs then happening Angry

I would imagine that Pudil is the first choice for LB as long as van Aken can take his slot at CH. Fox will be back-up once the season starts as long as Pudil is fit. Of course if Jos was to go 352 with wingbacks, then neither Fox nor Pudil will be needed at LB and Reach would fill the left side of midfield slot.

Well if the scrap at the end gets them going a bit then fine, if not then lets not let too many of our players take a kung-fu kick like Lees did, we don't need any injuries at this stage!!!

Rumours based on being fit (his statement) and not being played by Jos (knee injury) at Mansfield of Westwood getting hawked around.

If he doesn't play on Saturday probably a lot in that.

As good as he has been, he is in the last year of his contract and if we can free his wages and get a reasonable fee from a PL team I'm for that with having Dawson and Wildsmith.

Alternate would be he signs a new longer term contract on less money but there's more chance of me getting a game with the team than that Laugh
