Max Clark's move to Vitesse Arnhem has now been confirmed with the Hull City graduate moving to Holland on a three-year deal.
The 22-year-old, described by his new club as a left-back, rejected a contract offer from the Tigers to make a fresh start and joins up with former City boss Leonid Slutsky.
Vitesse have had to pay in the region of £400,000 to City for Clark on a fixed tariff set by FIFA, as the academy graduate's eight-year association with his hometown club officially ends.
Speaking on the Vitesse website, Clark said; "I am looking forward to working in the Netherlands. The ambitions and way of playing sound promising. In addition, I have worked very well with head coach Leonid Slutskiy before."
