Brighouse to Wembley

Telford two up at half time but they're down to ten men now with Grogan sent off and Basingstoke have pulled a goal back.
Could go either way this one yet.

Ten men per side now as Jamie Brown gets sent off in injury time.

Bristol City v AFC Telford United
The FA Cup 2nd round
Sunday December 7th 2:00 ko
at Ashton Gate

The story of Brighouse to Wembley so far:

1st Qualifying round: Brighouse Town 1-2 Ashton Utd
2nd Qualifying round: Ashton United 1-1 Salford City
2nd Qualifying round replay: Salford City 0-1 Ashton United
3rd Qualifying round: Spennymoor Town 1-0 Ashton United
4th Qualifying round: Spennymoor Town 2-2 AFC Telford United
4th Qualifying round replay: AFC Telford United 3-0 Spennymoor Town
1st round: Basingstoke Town 1-1 AFC Telford United
1st round replay: AFC Telford 2-1 Basingstoke Town

It's the short straw for AFC Telford as they drew out the highest ranked team in the competition at this stage. The team at the bottom of the Vanarama Conference travel to League One leaders Bristol City, at Ashton Gate.
City played at Peterborough last Friday night, live on Sky Sports and looked awesome as they stuffed the Pish 3-0, with goals from Luke Freeman (2) and Aaron Wilbraham. But there were great performances all round, particularly from Mark Little and Marlon Pack, who almost scored the goal of the season, flicking the ball over his head to wrong foot the defender then unleashing a superb volley on the turn which struck the bar and bounced away to safety.
AFC Telford are making their first appearance at this stage since their reformation in 2004. The old club got this far back in the season prior to that. They actually got further, beating Brentford and Crewe before losing to Millwall in the 4th round. This cup run however didn't save them from administration and eventually, liquidation.

This match kicks off at 2 o'clock on Sunday and will be featured on the BBC's new live FA Cup Final Score programme. The draw for round 3, when it really does get exciting, is once again live on BBC2 at 7 o'clock on Monday night.

Bristol City squad: Frank Fielding, Mark Little, Derrick Williams, Aden Flint, Karleigh Osborne, Korey Smith, Wade Elliott ©, Matt Smith, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Scott Wagstaff, Todd Kane, Dave Richards, Luke Freeman, Jordan Wynter, Greg Cunningham, Aaron Wilbraham, Kieran Agard, Marlon Pack, Luke Aylin, Joe Bryan.

AFC Telford squad: Jonathan Hedge, Neill Byrne, Steve Akrigg, Michael Grogan, Charlie Barnett, Adam Farrell, Tony Gray, Sean Clancy, Sean Cooke, Andy Pryce, Rod McDonald, Kristian Platt, Sam Smith, Jordan Deacey, Godfrey Poku, Andy Todd, Ryan Higgins, Andy Parry, Freddy Hall, Rhys Oates, Josh Hancock.

I hope we can beat MK Dons later and draw a big team in the draw.

Would like to see a lot more upsets this weekend.

Gateshead vs Warrington Town looks a good televised match but who is going to be interested in watching Colchester vs Peterborough at 4pm. No offence to both teams but it doesn't like an exciting match, they could have shown Aldershot vs Rochdale instead.
