No real surprises there, Nuhiu and Pudil have earned a one year extension, as Washington says Nuhiu might hold out for a better offer assuming the one he has been offered is only for one year. I hope there is a time limit on all the contract offers, need to get our business done as early as possible this summer. I too would like to see Venancio offered a contract, I am sure he won't cost much in either transfer fee or wages compared to others.

Reach POY bit boring like the season realy while he has been the best player its more a case of he didnt have much competition .. he has come on this season better than last obviously but he still lacks some qualitys like a through pass and scoring infront of goal in easy positions yes hes scored a cracker or maybe 2? but he generaly misses and hits the corner flag when the goal is right infront of him !

Didn't have much competition - in reality he didn't have any competition!!! He looked good in a poor side, lets hope he also looks good in a good side because thats where we need the likes of him to step it up a notch again next season!! He will need a settled role in the team, this season he has played all over the park due to the rest being site or injured, he needs a run on the left hand side, maybe as the wingback and give him much better support around him to work with. Bannan and Forestieri have shown the improvement in the side when we just get a few of the regulars back, Reach needs to work with these guys better going forward.

Back in the day players like him would drop down the leagues to continue their careers, but not anymore and certainly not for the money we would want to pay him!!! He will end up in the US or China on big money!!

Yeah, New York City is almost nailed on. It's a shame that it's all about money nowadays. Like you said these sort of players used to drop down the leagues because they loved the game and wanted to carry on. Waddle being a prime example after he left us and we've had a few benefit us in the past like Mick Lyons.
