Scotland win the Auld Alliance Cup v France!
#1
Following a very disappointing defeat in Cardiff, Scotland returned to 'winning ways' at Murrayfield v a France team that has baffling form TBF and should be performing better with such rich player resources - Scotland 'hanging in there' at 26-26 in a thrilling spectacle of a match compared with a dour game at Twickenham the previous day. Then applying a hi-press attacking tactic in the final quarter against a tiring big French side and deservedly winning it 32-26 to send the Scottish fans home in joyous mood and picking up the new Auld Alliance Cup for the first time. So Gregor Townsend registers his first Six Nations' victory as the Scotland coach and I'm sure it releases a wee bit pressure/criticism of him following that awfully flat performance v Wales. Next fixture England at Murrayfield in a fortnight's time!
