Well they did better than I thought and yes I would've been home for the end had I not gone to t' Asda.
It looks like the usual fare of not bowling well enough and the inevitable middle order collapse was our downfall yet again. A couple of good individual performances, when we needed a few more.

Life goes on for the rest of us and tomorrow's match will be used to commemorate the life of Philip Hughes. There was talk of abandoning the match as a mark of respect, but instead the game goes ahead.

Steven Finn is still struggling to be fit and Sri Lanka have no injury problems.

Mahela Jayawardene is missing this match for personal reasons. His place in the side will be taken by either Thilina Kandamby or Ashan Priyanjan.

England are likely to be unchanged though Chris Woakes has been missing training with a stomach upset.

The weather forecast isn't good, but we do have a reserve day, so all is not lost.
