Interesting finish building up in Birmingham, Lancs have a lead of about 130 with six wickets left, Davies another half century Chanderpaul and Vilas in, Buttler failed and Hameed got 22 probably not enough to get him intthe test team.

Hampshire v Lancashire @ Southampton 6/8/2017 to 9/8/2017

After the first slab of 20/20 fixtures the ECB in their wisdom decide that they must stick in a four day game before the next slab of slog games just to give the members a reminder that real cricket still exists. So the long journey down south for the Red Rose boys to play the side who they faced in their last four day match back in July when Lancashire absoutely hammered hampshire bu an innings.
Forecast for the game is not great but another win will put the Red Rose back in with a huge shout of the title. One other thing a decent score for Hameed and a test recall is just around the corner against the West Indies.

Lancashire Squad
