So Trump attacks a Syrian air base! So predictable of the unpredictable Trump who is a disaster on the 'home front' - a nice little distraction eh!! Re that chemical attack anyway, it's baffling why that happened at this time as Assad is in a reasonable position but poss lost control of some of his forces? In fact, was he the instigator as I don't see any direct evidence apart from accusations and insinuations! Who is the real threat to world peace? Trump, who is no humanitarian either, or Assad? An easy answer eh! Also remember that memorable Trump quote: America is no longer the world's policeman!!! Ehhhhh????? Rolleyes Then he ends his speech last night - god bless America and god bless the world?? Ehhhh??? So much for isolationist Trump and is he suddenly a humanitarian??? Nahhhhhh!!!

Aye. The cynic in me thinks this is more about distancing himself from the russkies rather than acting out of any care for the victims of this chemical attack. Then again they also tipped off the Russians in advance via the 'deconfliction hotline', so both they and the Syrians had long gone by the time the missiles hit.

Remember 3 days ago he was giving assad the green light to finish off ISIS asap. The mans a joke, and now it worryingly looks like he is desperate. Foreign policy by way of headline news.

This 'arrest' is just another 'piece of the jigsaw puzzle' that will eventually uncover how significant a role the Russians played in influencing a US electorate to elect him for the US presidency.

It's called 'opening one's mouth without thinking'!! It's 'par for the course' for the Trump administration and it's iffy officials who Trump had chosen to assist him. We already knew what Sean Spicer and his iffy right-wing values are all about and he just confirmed it again!

Trumps remembers details about the cake he was eating when he ordered the air strikes, but forgets which country they attacked...
