Nicola Sturgeon finally begins the process of separation!

Another negative development to add to that list Jim is that the cost of lotsa European manufactured products/goods has increased by about 9%. Hence many UK manufacturers who purchase components, parts etc, add these additional costs to the UK consumer as well as considering the possibility of reducing wages! It's happening as we debate and it will certainly worsen as the UK pound devalues even more with the onset of this Brexit farce that is really gonna damage the UK 'big-time'. Also add that suggested £50B 'divorce settlement' before May even begins the tough negotiations to attain the 'best deal' for Scotland eh! Rolleyes

Here's a good analysis of the unreliable ratings given to Sturgeon that emanate from some iffy pro Union sources (with improperly conducted opinion polls to suit their biased agenda (akin to extreme propaganda methods used in Germany in the 1930s!!!) like Sky News that endlessly try to demonise Nicola Sturgeon and any attempt for Scot Indy - you'll prob appreciate that info but I'd hope you'd condemn the crass methodology that is being used to convey part of an anti Scot Indy propaganda campaign that is funded at a high level by rich elitist groups of people!! I don't think any indy seeking Commonwealth country has been subjected to the extreme levels of antagonism, intimidation and blanket coverage of anti Scottish comments etc that I have read and listened to in the past three and a half years and now more of the same!!!! I thought the ipso Mori poll was startling in the fact that Sturgeon was rated 50 pts ahead of Theresa May while bizarrely SkyNews 'fake info' gave May a 28 pts lead - utter crap and somebody should deem this kinda crass manipulation of info to be a criminal offence TBF and worthy of formal scrutiny and a consequent fine!!! But that won't happen because it suits high levels of UK govt to allow this shit to continue in the good old democratic disunited Kingdom!!

Thankfully my opinion of Nicola Sturgeon is based on what I've seen and heard from her and not from Sky/BBC/Daily Mail/whoever. Besides my views on polls could not be posted before the watershed - pollsters/experts regularly get it wrong on just about every subject under the sun. There's only one poll that counts and that's the election or referendum.

Don't get me going with the accuracy of supposed reputable opinion polls lol! We've seen some absolute f### ups in recent times re the use of this info to try and influence the majority of an electorate and then the 'excuses' that followed - no wonder conspiracy theories prevail re this very subject!

I notice that an oil exploration co called Hurricane Energy have announced the discovery of a massive underdeveloped oil field off Shetland potentially yielding a billion barrels of oil. This makes me reflect back to referendum year 2014 and the dismissive comments that were made by these shameless 'better together' c#### re this whole issue!!! Indeed there are two other potential offshore oil sources that were referred to by more reputable Scottish sources such as 'Wings over Scotland' compared with these dishonourable morons with their set narrow Unionist agenda.

And Nicola gets the expected approval from the Scottish Parliament to push on indy ref 2 at the appropriate moment! A lotta Scots still talking as though the vote is happening tomorrow!! It's gonna happen when it's clear that the southern brexiteers, incl converted Cruella, run the UK bus into a brick wall!! What I'm curious to see is how many Scottish voters are quite happy to blindly follow the 'suicide bus' into that brick wall!!

Straight choice now. Between hard brexit, right wing tories and English nationalism.....or at least try to make something of our own.

Forecast show Scotland will be rich in oil and mineral wealth going forward. Send trident to the Thames where it belongs and we can even access the oil and gas in the Clyde estuary and revitalise a lot of the dead towns on our west coast.

Yep Jim. Let them keep Trident if they want it so much but they can keep that WMD in their own backyard eh! Shetland is the first confirmed oil discovery (mooted in 2014 by various pro Scotland agencies incl Wings over Scotland) of over a billion barrels of oil! There are still another two forecasts, incl that one in the Clyde estuary, which were poo-pooed by lotsa shameless allied unionist antagonists but they were never convincing anyway! Great to hear these positive forecasts but many of us knew it was always gonna be positive incl Nicola I'll bet!

And Nicola formally pushes the UK govt for a second referendum and I agree with her that there is no rational reasoning to refuse that request that has now been mandated by the Scottish parliament. Bit it's a shit heid Tory unionist govt that we are dealing with and the contemptuous disregard towards all the devolved nations is 'breathtaking' but unsurprising!
