Jon Flanagan will leave Liverpool when his contract expires this summer.

Some Liverpool fans on Twitter are grieving the imminent loss of Jon Flanagan.

The Reds announced on Twitter yesterday that the 25-year-old defender and Emre Can would be leaving Merseyside this summer when their contracts expire.

Flanagan, who has spent his entire career at Liverpool, has made 43 Premier League appearances for the Merseyside club.

Being a local lad, fans of the Anfield side have long supported the right-back and cheered his progression into the senior side.

Apparently RB James Tavernier of Rangers can go for 3.5M who has done really well there and be a bargain for an EPL club
