So I've decided to create this thread where you can write about memories from matchdays they could be funny or just about a match or even about a player at your club who you remember.

20th September 2006 it was the Carling Cup 2nd round and we were at home to Manchester City at Saltergate. Stuart Pearce was managing them back then and they were really struggling in the Premier League. I was sat in Compton Street and I remember we went behind just before the break when Corradi hit the post and Samaras tapped it in. In the 2nd half we were attacking the Kop and there was a freekick and all of the City defenders and even Nicky Weaver misjudged it and Caleb Folan headed it in. Then not soon after Phil Picken crossed the ball into the box and was headed away by I think it was Distin or Richards and Derek Niven smashed a perfect volley past Nicky Weaver.

In the next round we got West Ham at home which we beat 2-1 and in the 4th round we got Charlton at home and it ended 3-3 and we lost on Penalties.
