Absolutely! His ability to identify players of quality but under the radar was unparalleled, the list was nigh on endless. I think it might be more difficult these days when everyone has got access to the same levels of data and information regarding players around the world. Having said that, I’m sure Dan Ashworth could still do a really great job for the Albion.

You are quite right everyone has access to the data but I don't think its so much about having access to the data, its more about about understanding what that data is saying and it turn how that relates to what you need, that was Ashworth's skill.
