Our first defeat of the season, as we had a man sent off and eventually went down 2-0. By the staring lineup it was obviously a cautious approach, with the bench looking better than the starting eleven. We were doing ok without really looking like scoring, when James went in high and late and was shown a straight red, correct imo but only a yellow with others. Byers spat his dummy out when subbed before HT, I think DM wanted our best players on the bench   . Onto the 2nd and inevitably Posh scored a couple of goals, surprisingly both from crosses from the right and a couple of headers

Next up and another tricky trip, this time to Bolton. They have made a good start in the league with 2 wins and 2 draws so far and currently are in 4th position. They missed out on the playoffs last season and will be looking to rectify that this season. They are managed by Ian Evatt who has been in charge for a couple of years. They have one of our ex players, Kachunga, who did bugger all with us, but has 1 goal and 1 assist this season.

I'd like to say I hope he's learned something from that but a year of 'training' and the same issues remain despite a change in personnel.

Fizz and/or Adeniran needs to start if we are to have any pace in MF
We need to keep it down and play balls forward to run on to.
This facing our goal and passing backwards rubbish is killing us.

Cannot understand this man's substitutions at all or why Paper bag Patterson starts or worse yet finishes a game, Byers had every right to be pissed off but he handled it like a pleb.
So he'll either be fines, dropped or both. Which is not going to help

The discipline problem.. if it isn't injuries, this is going to cripple us at this rate. We're getting cards thrown at us like confetti.
The inconsistent decisions and obvious clipping of our wings by officials all season yet again is a reason why we need to step up our game and be much better.
We are going to play most games this season against 12 men. There's no room for error's.

I watched Bolton's highlights and as you would expect they attacked morcombe at every chance they got !
If they do the same on Saturday we will be done in by HT .
We need to sort our back 3 pairing out before anything else if we are going to insist on a back 3 !!
And I keep saying ithwikeywoo is the best choice at cb in the middle Hennegan isn't consistent enough and irofa is just awfull and cost us another goal yesterday with his laziness to mark a man infact he's so poor he doesn't even deserve to be on the bench and should be dropped for Brennan who has hardly ever put a foot wrong when called upon .

I really wish we'd play four at the back with wingers as 3 at the back is a constant disaster.
Iorfa has been awful for some time now. Gifted two goals against Pompey and possibly one more last night.
Palmer, to be fair to him has actually played well recently or it could just be that others around him were so poor.

On another note hennegan is a defender we have signed from a relegated team ! Has nobody noticed this or what ? We could have signed and can sign smith a top top defender with balls who may cost money but can command a defensive 3 or 4 or 5 !! Ridiculous chansiri and Moore struck again here ffs
