This was obviously written before Ally's resignation offer today {12/12/2014} and unless it is accepted today, Ally will be in charge at the match tonight.

More of the same from McCoist's Marvels so far.

No urgency, no guile, no skill, no tactics, no goals.

Full house.

SPFL2 (Championship) 12/12/2014 : Queen of the South 2-0 Rangers

Once again from Rangers, it was long high balls, which just fed the opposition, losing possession and incurring more pressure.
Queen of the South, for the most part, kept it on the deck, looked better for it, played better in consequence and thoroughly deserved their victory.

Match Report : Rangers FC - Queen of the South 2-0 Rangers

Attendance : 6,185

Manager's verdict : As at 13/12/2014, still nothing on the Rangers FC website, but on TV pre-match Ally said he could not comment on any resignation questions and post-match, stated he fully expects to be in charge for the match against Livingston next Saturday.
What we heard on Friday was 'SKY sources' stating that Ally McCoist had offered to resign, followed by Ally himself as good as denying this.

Meant to post about the second goal there on Friday - an almost carbon-copy of McCulloch being caught out of position for that goal against Hearts, as discussed on here.

He deserts his centre defence to try (and fail) to nip in for an interception and never recovers his position afterwards, allowing a nicely floated ball clear into the path of the striker - you know, the one he was supposed to be marking - for an unchallenged shot at goal.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/scotland/30459042 - skip forward to 4m 01s

It's these sort of recurring mistakes which have killed our season, and McCoist's insistence on sticking by his pals - even when they are so clearly not up to the job - that have turned the crowds against him.
