KEEPER Jamie McGowan, who played as a trialist for Dumbarton in pre-season, has now signed for the club on a one-year deal.
He was with Morton, but has been released by the Cappielow club.
Manager Stevie Aitken said: "Jamie is still young and has shown a great attitude during his trial spell with us.
"With him and Grant Adam on board, we're pleased with our goalkeeping options."
