Heart of Midlothian v Hibernian 2017

Re the eventual Hibs crowd for this cup replay, I think you'll discover that this attendance will be supplemented by a high number of what I'd call vociferous Hibs 'fanatics' who will make up the numbers in this sell out match - a different crowd from the normal but Hibs still need to contribute to turn up the atmosphere in this kinda match! I'd rather we won or lost this cup tie in order to 'get it out of the way' but we are where we are and most players would say that's exactly one of the reasons why they play footie - to be involved in these kinda sell out matches and others to possibly follow as well. There is a motivation to win the Raith game esp with that 'game in hand' after United's weekend 'meltdown'! Indeed I'm very interested to see their next result after such a colossal failure v Falkirk! It just indicated how bad Raith Rovers actually were when they were recently 'duffed up' at Tannadice!

We will see what effect a new manager has .......sometimes it leads to a great uptake in fortune and sometimes no difference or a drop. ( Bruce at villa, Zola at Birmingham)

lets hope for the latter. Thumb up

Usually I find teams get a big boost from it....at least initially.

Its going to be a real toughie against raith I think.

Don't fret Jim. Yogi is a staunch hibee and he'll start improving things at Raith after the Hibs visit! Wink
