10/06/2016 : Changes to the Laws of the Game will come into effect in Euro 2016.
Getting rid of the triple jeopardy of free-kick/penalty, red card and automatic suspension for denying a goalscoring opportunity has been a long time coming. It will now only apply to deliberate denying and not for unintended contact. Amongst other changes, injured players will not have to leave the field and then return. 28/09/2016 : There is no 'strict liability' provision in the SFA rules for Clubs to be responsible for the behaviour of their fans, hence the conclusion of the SFA panel today. At least the panel did not try and make up rules 'on the hoof', to suit the occasion !!!
