The last group match in a disappointing Euro campaign where being drawn in a group with Belgium and Russia really was too much of an "ask" for Scotland. However, a Euro play-off semi-final beckons at Hampden Park in March 2020 and Steve Clarke must try to win this game in order to continue an element of positive optimism and momentum leading up to this confrontation possibly v Bulgaria. His team choice for this final group tie? It must be a strong line up because we wanna win it but he may wish to try out other players who could be worthy of a place in that play-off semi.

3-1 home win, after a ropey first half thought we did ok. We now go into the qualifiers with a couple of wins under our belt.
We have a chance if we can keep our best players fit, but our centre backs remain a concern.

There was a nice "balance" about the front six players and John McGinn suddenly becoming a very important player for Scotland with some crucial "strikes". Defensively we are IMO still dodgy. The Euro final draw is tomorrow when we'll find out who we will face in that one-off semi-final at Hampden Park.
