Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has ruled out the possibility of ex-England striker Emile Heskey returning to the Premier League side as a player.

Heskey, 36, who scored 46 goals in 196 games for the Foxes between 1994 and 2000, said he would be interested in signing for the club if approached.

Pearson hasnt totally lost it then, Heskey couldnt bag 10 goals a season even at his peak
Leics will turn it round Perason been a bit cautious in his selections recently, if you havent got players scoring you`ll go down simple as and playing one up isnt always the key

Heskey is definitely past it as regards playing in the Premier league, but maybe he could do a job for someone in the championship or league one?? Its a shame that these days the players coming to the end of their careers don't drop down the divisions like they used to! Not aiming this at Heskey, but too many PL players are happy to sit on the bench or in the stands rather than play week in, week out a division or two further down the pyramid!!

Now on trial at Bolton, i`m not sure that is right either, Bolton need a forward but a goalscorer really and that looks more at the moment like Max Clayton
