The return of Zidane to Real Madrid!

His return to the Bernabeau Stadium apparently imminent and this is a curious appointment in the fact that the challenge for ZeeZee is one that demands a rebuild of the 1st team in the coming months during a period when they are not playing for anything any more.

I find this bizzare!! What has changed at the club since he left to persuade him to return? You also have to wonder if he thought clubs would be lining up to bring him in, yet the reality is he wasn’t really in the frame for any of the big jobs!! Is that a sign that clubs don’t view his resume as that great considering he succeeded at a club that just about any half decent manager will have some success at??

I suppose the real challenge is Real's financial position. Re-building one of the world's great clubs isn't easily done on the cheap. However much almost every player wants to wear that famous shirt, they all have agents and families ........ and though success would bring them worship, failure would mean derision (whether done expensively or on the cheap!) ........

It's a job ZZ is welcome to.
