BEM Report

There are only 19 black and ethnic minority (BME) coaches in the 552 'top' coaching positions at professional English clubs, a report has found.

BME coaches take up 3.4% of those positions despite at least 25% of players coming from BME backgrounds.

Oh God does this get boring

Should we put in Polish, Black, Pakistani, Indian ,Bangladeshi,Latvian, Somalian coaches just because of their ethnicity? Just so the numbers look better?

Should rules by 2017 have at least one player who is Zoarastrian, Shinto or Jain in their 25 man squad just to satisfy a graph chart?

I`m sure there are some Black and Foreign born players now retiring and thinking about coaching badges in this country, the UK leagues are now are multi-national and multi-cultural leagues so it really is just a matter of time before things even out without resorting to an apparently implied racist FA coaching system.
