I'm very disgusted by what the Daily Mirror have printed on there front page today there was no need to show a Racehorse which was fatally injured and in pain being put to sleep. If a horse has shattered its leg or broken it very badly then the humane thing is to put them to sleep quickly so there not in any suffering. I think its very insensitive to the owners and even the Jockey to show the pictures of it happening. Its very rare that a horse gets put down so Wigmore Hall must have seriously broken his leg.

Its not just racehorses which get put down if they get seriously injured. I went to school with a girl who kept horses and one of them got into difficulty when it slipped down a ditch and broke its leg and had to be put to sleep.
