This game changed with the team talk in the home dressing room at half time, whatever was said gave the match to Wednesday, defending your penalty area for 45 minutes was never going to work and in the end Wednesday ran out deserving winners.
Wednesday started the first period quickly soon ahead as Gregory easily shrugged aside Nsiala to slot home after 4 minutes, they had chances to increase the lead in the early stages they wasted them all

Seemed only a matter of time until another goal arrived however to the surprise of probably everyone in the ground it was at the other end. The North End connection played havoc with Wednesday's promotion bid, first loannee Storey was robbed in the area by Hayes, his effort was eventually cleared to the edge of the box and although Camps effort was not overly well struck it went in.
16 minutes later Captain Pugwash was heard again when a free kick from the right(pictured below) was headed home by Garner with the Wednesday nowhere to be seen. Garns an ex North Ender.

Wednesday could have been level at the break at bit of skill by Bannan chipped the keeper hit the post, the follow up by Paterson also hit the post
Second Wednesday swapped the positions of Hutchinson and Storey as Fleetwood defende in depth Wednesday played the ball at the back looked for openings which they struggled to find. Double substitution gave them a bit more attacking intent, finally levelled when the ball in from the left was headed home by Gregory. 45 seconds later he had scored again robbed Batty advanced towards the goal fired past the keeper.
Game changed in a instant the home side had to reverse ferret and had to go for broke, they never looked like scoring, whilst at the other end Windass bobbled one past the post, he should have scored.
Both sides go into the final game of teh season needing points for very different reason.
Finally the pitch looked as though they were starting to grow hay on it and for once the atmosphere in teh second half on teh ground was tremendously tense. I enjoyed it anyway
