Craig Gordon signs new deal

As the title says, Craig Gordon signs an extension until summer 2024. Great news for Hearts and Scotland imo. Some of his saves this season have definitely won Hearts the match day points, not only in saving shots but he has been a calming influence on the guys playing in front of him as well.

No doubt about it IJ, he has certainly done well for Hearts this season and kept you in many games . Good bit of business. As you say, defenders knowing they have a solid, organised keeper behind them helps.

Always been a top player, Celtic made a big error letting him go when they did, certainly continues to be the best goalie in Scotland for a long time and a pain in us Hibees arse.

Totally agree BH regarding Celtic letting him go . They ended up with the Barkas fella and he turned out to be a liability, so much so that they turned to Joe Hart to resurrect his own career. Not too sure that he’s actually that great either tbh
