Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez is to quit his job at the end of the month.
What, when and who next for the Magpies?

Whoever it is won't get enough brass off Trashley for a top 6 push, unless it's the top 6 of The Chumpionship again. The Fat Spanish Waiter knows he can get teams into Europe and do well, however he won't do it with a squad of nearly men.

Ha ha, there's a thought they've probably not had in The Scum yet Snoots. We read it here first. Thumb up

Technically not quit, his contract runs out at the end of June and no new contract is being signed. Rightly so he wants more control over the footballing side of the club and there is no way Ashley is giving up the reigns on a lot of that stuff, so back to another yes man they will go. Their odds of relegation will have dropped a lot on this news, they are a very average squad managed by a very, very good manager, they will not be able to replace him and will likely take a punt on an assistant somewhere else in the PL.

Must be horrid being a Newcastle fan they live and breath it and have an owner just using it as a cash cow

Mourinho and Allardyce names being linked but they are heavy salaries and big spenders so wont happen

Gio Van Bronckhorst and Claudio Ranieri are other touted names
