I think it would've worked better if I'd zeroed the scores at the 2nd round stage and then had semi final one off matches at the semi final stage with group leaders v runners up. Bear that in mind for next time.

Just out of interest Snoots, do you know if the positions would be different if the scores had been zeroed? Just curious, as I think SHEP and myself were pretty consistent throughout. Maybe if the final would have been different predictors, you could do a sort of 3rd 4th place playoff. Just a thought.

I agree that zeroing the scores would keep things a bit more exciting as the competition went on, as it was a foregone conclusion after a while. That said, you only learn by doing and it was another good competition ran by your good self.

I must be more of a league player, won that twice in a row but struggled to get going in the knockout competition format.
