A breezy damp night saw a derby between the F clubs at Highbury, never seen FGR before so that's another one ticked off the list, think I have seen the all although have only seen Harrogate as a non league side so somewhere down the line will have to get that sorted lthough they  are in distinct danger of getting relegated this season.
First action of the game saw the ball end up in the gardens behind the empty away end. The visiting hordes from Gloucester were in the stands, one coach load of them and to be fair to them they made a bit of noise in the first half.
The first period saw only one goal there could have been at least ten, Morton had his own competition on how he could not score, one blocked, one saved by teh finger tips of the keeper, he also hit the post. The home side had other efforts which were eithe blocked or went narrowly wide. Not that FGR idn't create, one early chance cleared from the lineas well.
FGR looked the better of teh two football wise, ex North Ender Wickham showing glimpses of skill which saw him make big money moves, sadly he's hhad some bad luck with injuries.
FGR took the lead free kick from the right headed home by Bunker(caught on camera as well)

They just about managed to survive until half time
Second period a bit more stop start as FGR became how you say in the trade street savy, wasting abit of time, the home side dominated without finding teh killer touch, Joe garner ran around fell over and argued as usual. The substitutions didn't work for FGR actually made them worse, so it was no surprise when Rooney crossed from the right and Morton eventually got his goal, back flicking the ball past the keeper. To be honest no motre than they deserved. The Cod tried to force a winner but it was FGR who nearly snatched it at the death, cross from the left sliding forward, ball wrong side of the post player sliding into net.
Fair result IMV
