West Ham's Argentina striker Mauro Zarate has signed for Premier League rivals Queens Park Rangers on loan until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old scored twice in eight appearances for the Hammers after joining from Velez Sarsfield.

Potentially a decent signing, personally If I was WHU manager i`d have kept him rather than have Carlton Cole etc as back up

I do not understand why one PL club loans players to their rivals??? There is an argument that loans between teams in the same division should not be allowed for a number of reasons, but I for one do not want to see my club helping any other in my division!!
