Richard Keogh has been sacked for gross misconduct for his involvement in the crash. It is felt that the decision was influenced by him being the captain and therefore expected to behave better?

Nah, its all about money, he is out until the end of next year, he wouldn't take a pay cut while he gets fit and he has zero sell on value while being one of their biggest earners. Its financially better for them to fire him essentially.
