LIVINGSTON winger Egli Kaja has been rewarded for his part in the Lions’ sensational start to the season with a maiden call-up for Albania.
The 21-year-old, who is on loan in West Lothian from AFC Wimbledon, has been named in Christian Panucci’s group for the friendly against Jordan on October 10 and their UEFA Nations League clash with Israel four days later.
Albania are in Group C alongside Scotland, defeating Israel 1-0 in Elbasan last month before slipping to a 2-0 reverse at Hampden.
Kaja has been selected alongside £2m Rangers winger Eros Grezda in the 25-man squad.
The Livi flyer tweeted: “My first senior national team call up, couldn’t be prouder. Two big games ahead! Dream come true.”
