England V Spain and Albania - turkeydinner - 06-09-2018

No knee jerk or surprises, in fact some would say boring, some would crib about Lallana`s lack of game time or Rose`s lack of form

Ive no worries that Alex McCarthy been called up i`m glad he`s getting a chance always had potential, more worries at say Burnley where there are three England international keepers although could potentially say the same for Southamton

Midfield is pretty much unchanged apart from the now withdrawn Lallana, Will Hughes has had a great start to the season with unfancied Watford, similarly Mason Mount on loan at Derby wouldve been interesting for experience, even Ross Barkley given people saying about lack of an attacking door unlocker (or Alli`s fitness) .

Forward line looks even worse, Vardy despite his being over thirty has never lost a step which looks like we are left with Daniel Sturridge who hasn't done it for years, Tabby Abraham whose parent club clearly dont fancy or Solanke who cant get in the Liverpool 25 man squad
It`s indeed time for James Wilson at Aberdeen and Gary Madine at Cardiff to stake their place !!!!

England squad – in full:

Goalkeepers:

Jordan Pickford (Everton)
Jack Butland (Stoke City)
Alex McCarthy (Southampton)

Defenders:

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)
Joe Gomez (Liverpool)
Harry Maguire (Leicester City)
Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur)
Luke Shaw (Manchester United)
John Stones (Manchester City)
James Tarkowski (Burnley)
Kieran Trippier (Tottenham Hotspur)
Kyle Walker (Manchester City)

Midfielders:

Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur)
Fabian Delph (Manchester City)
Eric Dier (Tottenham Hotspur)
Jordan Henderson (Liverpool)
Jesse Lingard (Manchester United)
Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Chelsea)

Forwards:

Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)
Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)
Danny Welbeck (Arsenal)
