STRIKER Iain Russell has returned to Dumbarton on a new one-year deal.
He returned to the club in January, scoring one goal in the second half of last season.
He already has two goals to his name during pre-season, including the winner against Cumbernauld Colts on Monday.
Manager Stevie Aitken said: "Beany will be an asset over the coming season.
"He has done the work in pre-season to earn himself another deal, and he is keen to be involved again and score more goals."
