Football Programmes - themaclad - 30-04-2018 The EFL have proposed a motion whereby clubs will not need to sell programmes on match day mainly due to the fact that they are a loss leader for clubs. Personal view it will be a sad day if clubs stop producing programmes. RE: Football Programmes - St Charles Owl - 30-04-2018 Are you saying that there is an EFL rule that clubs have to sell programmes?? Like you I would be sad to see them disappear but maybe the answer is to allow supporters to subscribe and be sent one or pick it up rather than the club having to produce so many that may or may not sell outside the ground. RE: Football Programmes - Lord Snooty - 01-05-2018 Make them cheaper. Cut out the crap. Just essential information. Something you can read before kick off. Programmes today are like a full on magazine. You can't just slip it in your back pocket. There are too many adverts and stuff for commercial sponsors. Should be A5 size, 16pp. |
